We completed a 5 day Via Ferrata tour with Roberto of Discovery Dolomites in August ‘22. My husband and I and our 3 daughters (ages 9, 12 and 15) were absolutely blown away by the trip. Roberto was quick to banish any apprehensions about the trip with his patient, professional advice and support. He was ever attentive and generous with his time and advice on all aspects of our holiday plans.
Whilst being physically challenging, it was also incredibly relaxing as we had full confidence in Robertos extensive experience meaning we could ‘switch off’ and not worry about every detail and decision involved in undertaking such a trip with children. He gave us the opportunity to explore a great variety of landscapes and settings each day. It felt like a true adventure for all of us without the stress of organising it all from afar with little knowledge of the Dolomites. It’s made family memories for us we’ll never forget.

I did a five day via ferrata I really enjoyed it because each day was a bit different than the last. And staying in a different Refugio every night was really exciting Roberto is really funny and he is really good at drawing 😊

I would really recommend going on a trip with Roberto into the alps, I had so much fun climbing, hiking and eating the gorgeous food in the refugios each night,
My favourite part was standing on a peek that was over 3000 metres high with my family and looking at the amazing view

We spent a wonderful 5 days climbing and hiking through the alps. Each night we stayed at a different Refugio and the next day got up early to hike to the next one. I liked the way we had to carry all our gear by ourselves and the feeling of achievement when we reached the peak was amazing. I was really disappointed when we had to leave.
